At Edgewood Primitive Baptist Church, we allow the Holy Spirit to lead our services. There is liberty here to worship! Our Church is open and available for you and your entire family. We have Sunday school classes that are age-appropriate and suitable for everyone. Take a look at our schedule, and don’t miss out on our next meeting!

CHILDREN'S CLASSES

Sundays, 9:45am

We have Sunday school classes for all ages of children! Located downstairs, are classrooms for ages 0-18.

ADULT CLASSES

Sundays, 9:45am

Held upstairs, the women's class takes place in the sanctuary. The men's class is also held upstairs, in a classroom. Sometimes, they are joined together as one open class.

SERVICES

Sundays, 11:00am & 6:00pm
Wednesdays, 6:00pm

Every time we meet, we worship the Lord. We typically sing, have prayer requests, an altar of prayer, and preaching. Our services are only loosely structured, and often change with the arrival of the Holy Spirit.

BUSINESS MEETINGS

3rd Wednesday of each month, 6:00pm

Edgewood holds its business meetings on the third Wednesday of each month. Visitors are welcome, and members are expected. (See Covenant) We often have dinner in the fellowship hall afterwards.

Union Meetings

COMMUNION & FOOTWASHING

At Edgewood, our Union meetings are held for three days, twice per year. Services begin at 7:00pm on the Friday before the third Saturday in June & September. Communion service is the following Sunday, at 6:30pm.

COMMUNION

This is a special service for born-again Christians to participate in. We eat unleavened bread to represent Christ's broken body, and we drink wine to represent his precious, life-saving blood.

FOOTWASHING

After the Last Supper, Christ began to was his disciples' feet. Jesus then explains that we should follow in His example, and wash one another's feet.

"If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them."
